Washington DC has an endless supply of urban, historic, and landmark wedding venues to cover every style of wedding imaginable. Some of these options happen to be all-inclusive sites that basically plan your wedding day for you! Here’s a varied list of both my favorites and ones I consider to be some of the best all-inclusive wedding venues in DC!
City streets + ivy-covered walls + vintage decor = the best setting for an intimate wedding. You can’t help but fall in love with the charming qualities of the Tabard Inn. It is a 100-year old boutique hotel with a ton of historic personality! The site reminds me of an inn you might find in Rome with its decor and grand ivy-covered patio.
Tabard Inn is a great option for an intimate wedding space with no shortage of beautiful urban photo opportunities right in the adjacent Dupont Circle!
Maketto is a restaurant that “features a modern/minimal attitude and includes a mix of 2 buildings, a courtyard, a roof deck, and a catwalk connecting the different spaces together.” With its urban and industrial vibes, Maketto is one of the best all-inclusive wedding venues in DC because you get the entire place to yourselves!
This small yet magical space includes the tiniest details that connect to your story as a couple such as the creation of your own personalized signature cocktails. The venue is suited best for micro weddings and has both indoor and outdoor options with an upstairs modern-style reception area and outdoor patio. It’s perfect for couples who want a cool urban vibe!
The LINE DC hotel is a boutique luxury hotel right by Meridian Hill Park in Adams Morgan with an easy access point to the entire city! There are so many local spots for photos right at your fingertips. This hotel fits the bill for couples that want a space providing an urban cityscape, great locations for portraits, and is both intimate and special.
Out of my list of the best all-inclusive wedding venues in DC, this is by far my favorite getting-ready space. For couples that don’t opt solely for a sunset ceremony on the rooftop, it serves as a perfect space for both the bride and groom to get ready.
The large windows are amazing, there’s plenty of room to spread out, and the decor is bright, neutral, and modern. There are no crazy carpet patterns! As the venue puts it, “With a 110-year old church as its foundation, the LINE DC’s unique architecture makes it unlike any other wedding venue in Washington, DC.” The front steps are great for a first look!
District Winery is one of my favorites out of the best all-inclusive wedding venues in DC. There are so many reasons to consider this waterfront winery for your big day! The venue sits right on the water in the Navy Yard neighborhood, so the views are incredible!
It offers a variety of spaces: rooftop patio with panoramic river views, second floor with floor-to-ceiling windows, and an indoor mezzanine level. The high windows provide tons of natural light with views overlooking the water: “District Winery’s flexible indoor and outdoor spaces can accommodate a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception with a dance floor.”
It’s the perfect combination of an urban vibe and a natural waterfront setting with the added bonus of a nice breeze! For your portraits, we can explore the venue and waterfront area or go somewhere nearby with a totally different feel like the National Arboretum.
The Iron Gate Restaurant DC located in Dupont Circle boasts several spaces that can be transformed into whichever style you two wish! The Garden Patio works for shaded ceremonies and receptions, with an indoor Dining Room and Side Courtyard (with tent option) for smaller and more intimate weddings. It’s on my list of the best all-inclusive wedding venues in DC also because of its historic charm being DC’s oldest continuously running restaurant (built in 1875).
Iron Gate provides a secret garden vibe right in the middle of the city that’s great for all seasons (heaters provided in winter). You have the option to rent the full venue or select solely the ivy-covered Garden Patio. The garden transforms perfectly no matter the time of day especially with its magical candles and twinkle lights at night.
Pulling from this list of the best wedding venues in DC, Hotel Washington definitely stands out! It has a timeless, classic feel with a variety of different spaces to accommodate your wedding size. Whether you need a large ballroom or a space for 30 guests, this venue has options for you:
Sequoia Restaurant is a multi-level wedding venue that has many space options including renting out the entire venue. With views of the Georgetown waterfront, this venue has a touch of modern design and plenty of beautiful natural light coming from its floor-to-ceiling windows! Looking for one of the best all-inclusive wedding venues in DC? Check out Sequoia!
It’s important to keep in mind that even though these are all-inclusive wedding venues, this generally does not include photography, videography, florals, and other decor. If any of these all-inclusive wedding venues stood out, I would love to share my experiences with you!
