Sunset Couples Session at Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara
Fur babies. Magic glows. Ocean sunsets. After traveling to California for this sunset couples session in Santa Barbara, I found that Cali sunsets really do live up to everything you’ve heard!
It’s not everyday that I find myself on the other side of the country in Santa Barbara, CA for a couples photo session! I love including engagement sessions in my elopement packages because sometimes this means doing the shoot after the wedding!
Man, was the couples shoot location SO beautiful!! These two babes began their love story in Georgia and then moved across the country together following their wedding day. I was there to capture the start of the next chapter in their story!
Will Travel for Puppies
Tim and Brittaney had gotten married recently, but their furry loved ones couldn’t make it to the wedding. So, we took a family adventure together down to the shore to celebrate both their little family and new town!
Being a pup Mama myself, I could certainly see the value of getting photos with the entire family (pup and cat included)!
Will Travel for Sunsets
Since they love spending time near the water, for this sunset couples session we went out to the Santa Barbara Stearns Wharf right as the sun was going down. Talk about a jaw-dropping sunset…holy crap!
Seriously though, EVERY direction we turned there was something SO beautiful to see: ocean views, boats in the harbor, the shoreline of the city, and crazy awesome sea creatures. It was incredible!
Will Travel for Love
My favorite part was actually getting to photograph their beloved family members at our spot on the pier! Pups can be pretty easy to work with when you’re prepared with love and a few treats. We just had to keep Nali the dog from jumping into the ocean that she loves so much.
It was, however, a brand new adventure bringing kitty Kai out for photos! He got to ride in his super dope kitty backpack, which attracted lots of new friends! I wish I could figure out how to fit my not-so-kitty-sized dog named Moose into one!
Whether you bring your furry friends to your session or not, traveling to beautiful places to shoot amazing couples is what gets me motivated to hop on that plane!
