The Manor at Airmont is a historic wedding venue located in Round Hill, Virginia. It’s a venue fit for a small wedding that offers a very unique, personalized in-house approach. For the owners, Natallia and Anthony Francis, a history in hospitality goes all the way back to childhood.

Natallia’s parents owned steakhouses followed by a catering company but it was always their dream to own a venue. She began her own journey designing high-end children’s parties and Christmas decor, eventually moving into interior design.

After a loss in the family six years ago, they were brought closer and decided to pursue the dream of owning a venue together. The timing was just right for everyone to team up and purchase The Manor. As Natallia shared, “The Manor experience was born from our collective desire to create a day for our clients that is both seamless and deeply personal.”

Anthony manages the business side overseeing catering and day-of coordination while Natallia oversees the design, florals and planning. The catering is run by her parents, while other roles like operations, in-house photography, and overseeing the bar are held by other family members. Even juggling Natallia’s kids while they work is a joint family effort!

Best Features & Insider Tips for The Manor at Airmont

• This wedding had 130 guests. I wouldn’t suggest a larger guest count than this for the indoor space due to its unique layout. 

• This indoor reception space also serves as the rain plan location. There is an upper loft and covered outdoor porch that are perfect too for rainy-day portraits.

• There is a ton of space outdoors and the back field is the spot for sunset.
• The all-inclusive package options also offer a Social Media Content Creator. This creator will capture short video clips and Reels of the day to share with family and friends. Tay Lauren Photo was super fun to work with throughout the day!

Making A Garden Wedding Work During the Heat of Summer

It is definitely hot in the summer months in the entire DC Metro Area. But, there are ways to work around it and still enjoy an outdoor summer wedding. With an 110 degrees Fahrenheit heat warning for this July wedding, here’s how The Manor at Airmont crew guided the couple through the hot day:

• Portable fans were provided for the wedding party which were life savers.

• We tried to stay in the shade as much as possible during their portraits. There were also a lot of air conditioning breaks taken inside throughout the day.
• We opted to do a big chunk of their wedding portraits at sunset when it was cooler.

• The guests had easy water access and were in a shaded area for cocktail hour.
• The reception was indoors, which let everyone cool off.

Shelby and Joe are two of the sweetest humans I’ve ever met. These newlyweds were such troopers in the high temperatures. They still had a beautiful time enjoying their special day with loved ones. It was mostly due to their keeping a positive attitude and drinking lots of water that got them through the heat. They were just so happy to get married and start their next chapter together!
