It’s hard to beat sunrise engagement sessions at the Jefferson Memorial in DC. There is definitely a sense of awe and peace that takes over the place. It was the perfect spot for Cayman + Brett’s photos before the large crowds arrived. (Trust me friends, it is worth it to get up early!) Their pup Bella even got to join us! All I got to say is she definitely knows just how adorable she is and shined with her cute moves and gorgeous flower collar. I cannot get over how genuine these two were and how they were totally down for anything I threw at them!
They are going to be having their intimate wedding in Germany next year! (What, what?!) If you’ve had the small intimate wedding VS giant party debate, intimate vows are always going to win in my book. There is just something absolutely amazing about gathering your closest family and friends and traveling somewhere that is absolutely breathtaking together to make these ultimate promises to each other. Yes, you’ll probably same some money on catering, DJ, venues, etc but the real magic comes from the intimacy that is going to happen with your special group of people. You are not going to be stressed, rushed, or end up getting stuck talking with someone you’ve only met one time. You will get to ENJOY your day and take it all in. You are going to get to start this journey with literally the most important people in the world to you. No fuss. Just love + celebration.
